Upon arrival at the Gold Coast, one of our Connect Coaches and driver will be there to meet us. We will then make our way to the Imperial Hotel for a very special high tea lunch. Set in an exclusive waterfront locale, every aspect of the architecture, furnishings, and ornamentation reflects an ambiance of pure glamour. Our next stop will be Skypoint, situated on level 77 of the iconic Q1 building. Here, we will experience unsurpassed 360˚ views of the city. Afterward, we will make our way to our hotel, where we can check in and settle in, as this will be our home for the next 3 nights.

We make our way to the Eumundi Markets. The twice weekly street market is held in the small village of Eumundi and is as popular with the locals as they are with visitors to the Sunshine Coast. The town itself is very attractive – the main street is tree lined and features many fine examples of buildings that were constructed between 1890 and 1930. Here we can purchase our lunch, as there are numerous food stalls in the market, or if you wish to visit the cafes or pubs in the main street, they are only a short walk away.

We have a very early start this morning, but it will definitely be worth it! An underwater oasis is waiting to be discovered as we travel on a luxury catamaran to the southern part of the Great Barrier Reef and the unspoilt Lady Musgrave Island. Pop on your snorkel and mask to reveal one of the Great Barrier Reefs protected coral lagoons. We also discover the pristine reef habitat many marine and land animals call home by glass bottom boat or an island walk. The tour will also include a delicious lunch. Deposit & Balance:

To secure your seat on this exciting journey, a $200 non-refundable deposit is required to confirm booking. This initial commitment helps us finalise arrangements to ensure your experience is seamless and enjoyable.

 Fitness & Mobility:

This tour requires adequate mobility & stamina for walking around various venues. Due to stairs & uneven surfaces, it is unfortunately not suitable for those needing walkers. However, a walking stick is an appropriate aid to ensure you remain active and engaged. We always request ground floor rooms & walk-in showers when booking accommodations; please note that these requests cannot always be guaranteed.

Connect Coaches will provide two walkers on board the coach for anyone needing to use them if necessary.

 Luggage:

Passengers are limited to one suitcase plus carry-on baggage (such as a small backpack or handbag) for the flight home. Weight restrictions will be based on airline regulations, which will be conveyed to you before departure to ensure you are well-prepared. While we assist with luggage, you are responsible for transporting your suitcase from our vehicle to your room during the tour and managing it at the airport, allowing you to remain mobile and independent throughout your journey.

Connect Coaches provides a complimentary home pick-up & drop-off service for those residing within the advertised pick-up area on the Central Coast. If you live outside this area,

Passenger Numbers:

A minimum of 10 passengers is required for this trip to proceed, creating a lively and engaging group atmosphere that enhances your travel experience.

  Terms & Conditions:

  • Important: The terms, conditions, and limitation of liability under which the tour operates are detailed below. Payment of the tour deposit &/or balance represents acceptance by the passenger of the following:

1. This tour is organised and operated by Connect Coaches. 

2. To confirm your reservation, a non-refundable deposit of $200 per person must be paid to confirm your booking. The balance can be paid in installments. Reservations will only be held until this date unless a prior arrangement has been made with Liam & Alison. Connect Coaches reserves the right to accept waitlist passengers in place of applicants who fail to finalise within the prescribed time.

3. Occasionally, it may be necessary to alter or amend itineraries, accommodations, and sightseeing arrangements from those published. This may be due to road, weather, and other operational needs prevailing at the time and is always made in the best interest of your comfort. Times listed on the itinerary are approximations only. Any personal expenses incurred by a passenger due to any delay, alteration, or curtailment of any tour, whether caused by mechanical defect, strikes, or any other cause, are the responsibility of the passenger.

4. A minimum number of bookings is required to operate a tour and to ensure an enjoyable group atmosphere. If sufficient numbers cannot be achieved, Connect Coaches reserves the right to cancel or postpone a scheduled departure date or tour. When a tour is canceled by Connect Coaches, your money will be refunded in full. If the tour is postponed and you cannot travel on the new date, your money will be refunded in full.

5. Any special passenger requirements must be notified to Connect Coaches on the Booking Form provided at the time of booking. No passenger will be permitted to embark or continue on the tour if their mental or physical condition, in the opinion of any representative of Connect Coaches, renders them incapable of caring for themselves, becomes objectionable to other passengers, or poses a hazard to themselves or others. Connect Coaches will not be responsible for expenses resulting from such persons being precluded from completing the tour for any reason.

6. If a tour is canceled prior to the departure date, according to sections 2 or 3, or due to an outbreak of Covid-19, Connect Coaches shall endeavor to offer the nearest possible alternative tour (subject to a refund or payment to cover any tour price difference). If this is not acceptable, your money will be refunded in full.

7.  Connect Coaches cannot guarantee exact arrival and departure times and is not liable for any failure to make connections with any other service or guarantee the operation of any particular service.

8. Connect Coaches reserves the right to cancel any ticket or booking or to refuse to carry any passenger where payments have not been received within the specified times. It is a condition of carriage that a passenger has paid all tour money prior to departure.

9. Cancellation Fees – Connect Coaches’ tours require extensive planning, coordination, and costs, as well as advance bookings and payments for accommodations and activities. If you have to cancel your tour with us, the following rates will apply to our transport component. Any motel or additional travel cancellation costs may be applicable as per their individual cancellation policies:

·       43 - 59 days’ notice - 100% refund of coach component                                

·       28 - 42 days’ notice - 50% refund of coach component                                                                       

·       less than 28 days’ notice - 0% refund of coach component

10. Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all tours to cover possible associated risks, including medical expenses, loss of luggage, and costs incurred due to cancellations, delays, or other disruptions. This is crucial for your safety and peace of mind as you travel.

11. Although your safety and comfort are our highest priority, all passengers who participate in our tours do so at their own risk. Connect Coaches cannot accept responsibility for any loss of personal belongings, accidents, illness, or injury incurred by you during the course of the tour, so please take necessary precautions to protect yourself and your belongings.

                                                                      

12. "Act of God" or "Force Majeure" Clause:  the occurrence of an event beyond Connect Coaches' reasonable control that could not have been reasonably prevented, including, but not limited to: (a) pandemic events such as Covid-19; (b) natural disasters (including, but not limited to flooding, fire, earthquake, landslide), adverse weather conditions, high or low water levels; (c) nuclear or other industrial accidents causing environmental pollution or contamination; or (d) changes in government restrictions or regulations. Should a Force Majeure event prevent Connect Coaches from providing your tour as planned, we will change our travel arrangements as reasonably practicable to ensure your safety and invoice you for any possible additional costs if required.
